“Estou Danado” é o álbum de estreia de CajaBucalho e a sua música é, pela originalidade da abordagem aos temas tocados e pelos inéditos instrumentos utilizados, difícil de classificar - a sua sonoridade, cheia de energia e entusiasmo, é o resultado de uma mistura entre a música tradicional portuguesa, fusão e rock com uma forte componente experimental.
Este álbum é o resultado de muitas experiências a nível tímbrico feitas em contexto pedagógico, que se foram desenvolvendo, amadurecendo e consolidando naquilo que é a sonoridade única dos CajaBucalho. Tudo começou na Escola E.B. 2-3 da Trafaria, Portugal - uma vila de tradição intimamente ligada ao Mar, de onde vêm alguns dos instrumentos utilizados, como a orquestra de búzios. Alguns alunos que, na altura, desenvolveram primeiramente este projecto, são agora músicos profissionais e concretizam neste momento um sonho de há muito: o lançamento deste álbum!

“Estou Danado” is the debut album of CajaBucalho and its songs are strongly characterized by the originality of the instruments used - the album’s sonority, full of energy and enthusiasm, is the result of a mix between traditional Portuguese music, world music and rock with a strong experimental component.
This album is the result of pedagogical experiences which were developed, matured and consolidated over the years into the unique instrumental virtuosity of CajaBucalho. It all began in a junior high/secondary education school in Trafaria, Portugal - a village by the sea, from which some of the band instruments come from, namely the Whelk orchestra. Some of the students who first started this project are now professional musicians and are fulfilling a long sought dream: editing this album!
